These fairy panels are exquisite and quite unique. They were inspired by the artwork of Cicely Mary Barker and her art noveau collections in the early 1920’s. Her work was licensed to Michael Miller Fabrics by her estate. Her flowers were always botanically correct and she used real life models for her fairies. The feeling of each is so distinctive and captures the innocence of the fairies. I used the Michael Miller panels flower fairies, hawthorne fairies and Christmas fairies in my fairies series.
These 12 panels are all different and are bordered with a fabric to bring out the colors of each fairy.
Quilted using stitch in the ditch to make each section puff out. Backing is white flannel
